Tea Villa Cafe

We went here for dinner on a Friday evening with my school friends. Had a great time – quick and efficient service and good food! Ambiance – The swing like table was the most striking. Maybe because it was right in front of me and it was reserved all the while so I kept eyeing it ;) It was indeed a great place for friends to catch up. Food - We started our meal with the hummus platter – all the 3 different varieties of hummus were great –pleasantly surprised to see olives. Simple presentation, flavourful and sufficient for 3-4people. We wanted to have dimsums and our server Atul suggested that vegetable was the best amongst all their dimsums, we all quite liked it. Would have loved to have more than 5 pieces though. For the main course, we had lasagne and ratatouille. Atul served very it very well, patiently making equal proportions. The lasagne was delicious but was slightly disappointed with the presentation, taste, and quantity of the ratatouille. We opted to have the hot chocolate fondue for dessert – absolutely delightful! Fruits were fresh, juicy, and who doesn’t like waffles :) Service – This can actually make a lot of difference. And it is all the more important on a weekend. We went on a Saturday evening, obviously, it was crowded but our server was really attentive throughout and could answer all our queries and gave some good recommendations. Would like to visit again.
